Whether you are looking to tone and strengthen your body or include as part of rehabilitation therapy, the Gyrotonic Expansion System allows for personalized sessions that are adapted to fit the needs of all ages and abilities – from beginner to professional athlete and everyone in-between. Our certified staff works collaboratively with you to provide individualized instruction using Gyrotonic equipment designed by founder, Juliu Horvath; which is complemented by floor, seated and standing movements. With the focus on you, our staff is committed to meeting your specific health and fitness goals.

The light-filled Lumin Movement Studio has two Gyrotonic pulley towers, a leg extension unit, stools, props, and floor mats.
The studio is located on the third floor, with stair access. Sessions by appointment only.
As a courtesy to other students, no strong fragrances please.

Cheryl Gail is a certified Gyrotonic instructor. She came to the Gyrotonic Method due to a shoulder injury and quickly recognized the benefits that this wholistic approach provides towards health and healing. After a shoulder replacement in 2016, Gyrotonic movement was instrumental in her recovery and helped her to regain mobility.
Cheryl has trained with specialized master trainers Lisa Lansing, Kathy Van Patten, Lisa Marie Goodwin and Karen Mullen as well as, master trainers, Tim McMinn and Uwe Herbstreit.

Originally from Connecticut, Gail has lived in several US cities and since 2007 has called Kansas City home. A life-long naturalist, she is an avid gardener and enjoys the beach and mountains alike. Cheryl is also a home-chef wizard and proficient knitter. She holds a B.A. in Fine Art and Education from Elms College in Massachusetts.
